This migration eased the administrative burden of managing on-premises systems, reduced capital expenditures, and improved network accessibility and stability. The move also enabled PIDC to scale IT resources to meet growing demands while embracing a more flexible, cloud-first approach.
• Agile IT Solutions and Enhanced User Experience: Throughout the onboarding process, CBIZ CompuData worked closely with PIDC to refine solutions based on real-time feedback. When the initial cloud desktop solution did not fully meet user needs, CBIZ quickly pivoted to a Microsoft Intune and local devices solution, improving the overall user experience.
• Microsoft Intune for Workstation Administration: Leveraging Intune allowed PIDC to deploy and immediately utilize 75 new laptop devices seamlessly. The system used Autopilot for a branded enrollment experience while Intune deployed applications, security features, and other administrative improvements. PC deployment was completely overhauled from a manual, image-based rollout process to a zero-touch provisioning model that can be modified quickly to meet changing user demands.
• Advanced Security Measures: CBIZ implemented a robust, security strategy that prioritized protecting PIDC’s data and networks. By leveraging advanced security measures, including proactive threat detection, multi-layered protection, and continuous monitoring, CBIZ enhanced the overall security posture without adding unnecessary complexity.
