The latest update allows you to print time, materials, and expense billing details directly from project contract invoices—no need to create a separate report. This enhancement consolidates billed expenses into one streamlined view for reporting and printed invoices.
You can then sort, filter, and group all billed expenses, with links for easy navigation to review the original cost entry.
A new configuration option (Company > Setup > Settings > Email templates) also enables automatic zipping of supporting documents, attaching them to customer invoices when emailing. This feature saves time and boosts efficiency.
Add Scope and Schedule to Projects
Release 4 allows you to add the scope and schedule to a project, ensuring team members are aligned on key project details and timelines.
A new Scope and Schedule section has been added to the Project tab on the Project Information page. This feature allows you to define the project’s scope, including exclusions, inclusions, and terms. Additionally, you can specify various start and completion dates in the new Schedule section, helping keep projects on track and well-documented.

The latest updates to Sage Intacct Construction Payroll bring several powerful improvements designed to streamline payroll processing and enhance accuracy.
An upgraded import utility includes the following new features:
- Enhanced validation routines prevent invalid data within the payroll system.
- A simplified selection process for field mapping.
- Drag-and-drop functionality for importing files.
- Easier validation of import data with a split-screen view.
- The ability to delete rows during import or download records if changes are made during the import process.
- Support for multiple values in the same import field, where applicable.
Additionally, when generating checks for pay groups with many employees, the process is now significantly faster, with processing times reduced by up to as little as 25% of their previous duration.
Check stubs generated through the standard process now include the employer address and 401(k) split into pre-tax and post-tax amounts. The PDF generation has also been improved, eliminating the need for a combined check/advice notice.
For even greater flexibility, the enhanced check modification process allows you to override pay modifiers associated with multiple distributions on the same work date. It also prevents the removal of these overrides during recalculations, ensuring payroll remains accurate and streamlined.
Streamline Information for Projects
Sage Intacct Construction now offers enhanced customization options for your projects. Tailor your project setup to meet your specific business needs by selecting which tabs to display when configuring your Projects subscription (Projects > Setup > Configuration > Display options for project).
